You know each of us are born with innate gifts, talents that are just in us and waiting for us to discover them, nurture them, share them with the world. Frequently we become aware of our gifts but for some reason are too shy or afraid to draw attention to ourselves and we leave them locked up inside. All of us do it to some extent. “Hide your light under a bushel (basket)” is the saying. Well now’s the time Joanna to throw off your protective wrapper and let your light speak to you of its dreams. Let it show you the path that it wants to take. Let it grow you into all you’re capable of being.
I’m still adjusting to my sister moving on. Hopeful that her life of faith has been rewarded and that she’s at peace. She touched many lives and made a big impact here on earth over her 61 years. Is that reward enough? To help and to lead by example and leave a mark that way? Is knowing you did good on this earth its own eternal reward? I’m sure Marcia expected more, but would settle for a life well lived. Try to lead a good life Theo. Be true to yourself. Realize your potential. Be all you can be and help others achieve their own goals as well. Then you will not have lived in vain.
